Gently dried for a natural, healthy diet
Back when our ancestors were out hunting with their spears and successfully brought down a large animal, the question arose: How can the prey be preserved for a long time? The clan had to be fed by a mammoth for a long time, as they did not know when fortune would smile upon them again in the hunt.
The solution: The meat was dried. This preserved the nutrients and only the water—the basis for the meat to spoil due to bacteria—was removed.
This method, proven over thousands of years, was continued almost unchanged in the Middle Ages with trade routes spanning continents for months: dried fruit, dried fish, and dried meat are testament to this and are still used in many countries today.
Our dry food is produced just like dried meat for us humans: The ingredients are carefully selected, finely sliced, and gently dried—just like in the old days. The great advantage is that the multitude of nutrients is preserved. Above all, however, there is no need for extensive processing of the ingredients.
Up to four times as productive as conventional dry food
Due to the drying process, our food is about four times as productive as conventional dry food. Our 1200g food bag corresponds to about 5kg of regular dry food. So you need to feed less.
Your darling needs approx. 0.6% of their body weight of our dry food. Do you have an adult mixed-breed dog weighing 10kg?
Then it is only about 60 grams per day.
Feeding as dry food or as wet food – Your choice
You can feed our dry food just like conventional dry food. You can also mix it with 3 parts water, let it sit for 15 minutes, and then give it to your darling like wet food. Just as you like.
